This is the result of a "Bow Echo" storm system that moved in overnight May 1st. They call it a bow echo but I personally think with the way things were in the aftermath, it was a tornado.
**Update** --They haven't really publicized it but they did finally declare that it was a tornado that tore through here. I don't see how hard it could be to find out. Oh well.
Sprint made a special commercial for the opening of the Sprint Center here in Kansas City (Missouri). It focuses on just a few of the landmarks in the area. Nicely made.

Here's a pic of the ice storm (so far) that we're having here in the Kansas City area. I live right by I-70 and it ain't looking so good.

Today, my home thermometer said it was 78 at 2:30pm. Tomorrow will be just about the same.

This little ditty played at Arrowhead Stadium before the home games in the early 90s. This was when most Chiefs games played on then-local NBC affiliate Newschannel 4 WDAF (now FOX 4, a News Corp station). The series of promos were of the many syndicated shows that were running on the station at the time. I barely remember it because I was 10 then.
